75 years later, the 'real' reason for Social Security is slowly coming to light

It's absolutely dizzying what the Freepers like to assign to a conspiracy.

Taitz’s investigation into the origins of Barack Obama’s Social Security Number, which was originally issued in the State of Connecticut to a man who was born in the late 1890s, includes an affidavit of the facts prepared by former Scotland Yard officer Neil Sankey. There is no record of Obama ever having lived in Connecticut. The original holder of the number is presumed dead. Land dismissed Taitz’s investigation as frivolous and refused to hear the evidence.
Boy, I should think that the court would want that lead pursued. When they originally issued that Social Security number to the fellow born in the 1890's, did they know that Obama would need to use it a few decades later? This trail goes back to FDR and may provide a whole new interpretation about why they created the Social Security system.

the guy was born in the 1890's...not necessarily when the number was assigned. Still, the point here is the FDR collusion of preparing a number that Obama will ahve to one day use.

My dad was born in 1896 and acquired a SS # when FDR created the program. With it, he was able to collect SS when he retired and when LBJ created Medicare was able to benefit from that as well.

3. Oh, I have no doubt that it is true!

See, there was a conspiracy to put the first black man in the White House (as president, not a servant) after the Civil War, started by former abolitionists in CT, well known for it's advocacy to take away rights from white men. Harriet Beecher Stowe herself was part of the cadre that cooked it up. She had been thinking about it ever since she wrote "Uncle Tom's Cabin." In anticipation of Social Security, they plotted to have this happen by the 1930's, when they heard from their relatives, the Roosevelts, that there would be such a system in place and young Franklin was designated to do it.

7. Great comment on social security.

It is an information system. I think better then social security should be social safety nets, and the need to track money earned is not needed.

Basically the tracking part is the problem.

But not having a social safety net is a bigger problem.

If people want to get rid of social security, then it should be done by having elderly retirement not fixed based on 'money earned' and the records of where people worked over life would not need to be stored.

The storing of information can destroy society as much as poverty if used in secret.

And if you don't like some that worked less getting retirement, then go after the rich that do not work.


So you don't solve the problem by getting rid of social security, you first set up state sponsored safety nets for retirees (since people with money have shown they wont do that) then after setting up that, social security would not be needed.

I disagree with information gathering like the supermarket cards, or walmart systems, and store shopping cards.

Some think they can control society by data storage.

Think about it, any college student that shows resistance to marketing could be targeted, just as an example.

SSN's were based on where the applicant applied for the SSN. If one lived near another state they could easily apply in another state even though they lived in the neighboring state. The nearest SS office might be closer across the border.

Social Security does not re-use numbers. So whatever SSN Obama has, it did not originally belong to someone else.
