Approximately 1.5 million Korean and North Vietnamese dead. The fear of Communism left Korea divided 57 years ago, a division that is still a cause for concern today. 35 years ago we left an undivided Vietnam. Today, Vietnam is a viable world trading partner while Korea threatens to explode. When will mankind realize that war is not the answer? America no longer feels obliged to stop Communism, now we fight war for corporations. Which is the world better off with now, America's tie, i.e. Korea, or it's loss in Vietnam?
War, what is it good for?

Unfortunately many think that reducing population is the answer. There is a downward spiral with production higher then demand that can create that within money systems.
Although when people start deciding who should live and die, the people that do that are not compassionate, and society becomes cold and numb.

| 3. That said, having been to both South Korea and Vietnam.... |

Despite the looming threat, South Korea is a much nicer, free country to live in. Had the US not become involved in that war it would be another country full of repressed people.
