Why do Repugs hate self-made Presidents?

Look at how they hounded President Clinton, a man raised by a single mother who pulled himself up by the proverbial bootstraps was so villified. Now they're doing it to President Obama.

Aren't both President Obama and President Clinton the penultimate examples of the "American Dream"?

This man was not born with a trust fund there to assure his success. He was not a legacy student. He worked in impoverished communities, as did his mother. How is it that it is a lie to say that the President got where he did through hard work and on his own steam?

and supported he and his mother. It was not like the Bush boys, but it is not like he raised in poverty either

15. His grandfather worked as a salesman in a furniture store and

the family lived in an apartment. The President's tuition at Punahou was large paid for by scholarships. Blue collar background and hard work when an opportunity was earned.

19. Because for all their 'patriot' claims, they are royalists and fascists at their core - Bush family

has been at the heart and soul of that party for the last century and their purpose is clear to anyone paying attention. And they had their privileged cronies buy control of most broadcast media over the last few decades to make sure the masses are hoodwinked into supporting that agenda.
