| I wanted to belatedly applaud President Obama |

For his allowing James Clapper enough prominence in this administration that Clapper was able to stop a war between North Korea and South Korea over the last week.
For whatever reason, the M$M has gone nuts talking about Clapper's ignorance relating to the arrests in London while the man was handling this major crisis.
Ya know something: I really don't care if the neurosurgeon saving my spouse's life knows about a brawl going on in the hospital parking lot while he's doing the surgery.
Aint' important to me.
Good job, James Clapper. Good job, Mr President.
It's nice knowing the only loud noises we will be hearing tonight on the West Coast are those related to celebrating the New Year's, and not some incoming from North Korea blowing Hawaii away.

| 1. Extremely good point! But for some. . .any excuse to criticize Obama or his administration is good |

| 2. In fact, I think James Clapper should be considered for the Nobel Peace Prize! |

| 3. Excellent analogy. The M$M is simply outing because it didn't get the |
|
war they wanted--and would later ignore.
I note to others that coming from TD, this is remarkable praise.

Clapper has always considered this to be an issue of extreme importance. Here's what he said in July - http://www.bbc.co.uk/news/world-us-canada-10707396

| 5. I think Richardson had something to do with this too |
|
He just returned form the region in the last few days. If I remember correctly it was he who NK wanted to talk too on an earlier incidence.. With all due respect to Hill I think Bill Richardson would have bee a better pick for her job as Secretary of State

| 6. Oh I am very interested in these tidbits about Richardson. |
|
So thank you. Will employ the google to add more information to my vast data base of knowledge on this topic. (Which so far doesn't include much info. This week has been Michael Vick week, for what ever reasons that may be.). I also think that Richardson would have been a better choice for Secretary of State than Clinton was. But concessions are often the name of the game when you are trying to win the primaries and then face a Republican contender and not have those who lost in the primaries cause too much of party disunity.
