1. It depends

I like well done, intelligent family movies. Not as big a fan of animated, Disney type movies. See my list of Netflix movies--there are several family films on it.

I just saw the trailer for Legends of the Guardians. The animation looks fantastic.

I have The Secret of Kells in my queue. It's available on instant play, but I want to see it in Blu-ray.

3. Love watching them with my grandson and granddaughter...

They ask just about the same questions about the movies that
my boys did at similar ages.

We enjoyed PONYO streaming recently.

Got it for my grandkids but it's really a sweet movie with a great moral.

It was one of my daughter's favorite flicks when she was growing up, we had it on VHS, I must have seen it at least twenty times..

When I was a kid, I would disappear just like Bastian, to someplace quiet and alone to read. Leave. Me. Alone. Most of the time it worked.

or however the heck that's spelled. Most children's films are shit though -- didn't even like them as a kid.

aren't really children's films if you know what I mean. Ratatoulli, for instance, is an animated film, but far from being a children's film.

17. James and the Giant Peach

All of the Ice Age movies, The Meltdown is my favorite though.
Loved HTTYD too, saw it in 3D at the theater and watched it a few times on TV.

was ....well... incredible!!

it's not streaming, but worth getting the DVD

Does that qualify as a kid's movie? So many of the jokes and references were meant for the adult audience.
