So how do you search for new instant stuff to watch?
Sometimes I feel like browsing through the Watch Instantly is a waste of time after a while.

1. I mostly rely on recommendations from the group
... even before it was a group. That points me in directions I would never think to go.

I just watched The Tic Code. I wasn't thrilled, but it was definitely worth watching.

2. I have found some great stuff by looking but sometimes it does get boring.
There is always new stuff coming to instant view.

I wish Route 66 was on instant view, great show.

3. I wish there was a way to find...
TV episodes instant from countries other than US and UK. I have enjoyed two shows from
Canada (CBC) but don't know how to search for just Canadian shows.

Intelligence and Da Vinci's Inquest are great.

Tikki
your recommendations always appreciated

4. Here's my latest way to search
I go here:

http://instantwatcher.com/

Then I click the "expiring" link on the top menu. From there I just browse through until something strikes my fancy.

PROTIP: Hover your cursor over a film title and you get a little pop-up mini synopsis just like regualr Netflix.

7. Another vote for instantwatcher.com - it's great.
Especially being able to see what has just been added.

9. I go through the pages and get other ideas from recommendations
after I make a selection. I probably have 300 in my instant queue.

11. I sometimes search on actors.
I'll go through Kevin Costner, Ahnold, Bruce, Harrison Ford, Michelle Pfeiffer, Julia Roberts, Susan Sarandon. Sometimes I get lucky. It's irritating that some of my favorites like T2 come and go from Instant so fast.

12. I think I am just going to use recommendations from this group. So far it beats all
other methods I have tried.

13. I rely on the recs from Netflix
Based on all the movies I've rated--which is a lot of movies. If Netflix rates it 3 or higher, I watch it. Definitely if they think I'll rate it 4 or higher. They rarely let me down.
