| Has anyone seen the "Red Riding" Trilogy? |
|
I'm about halfway through the first movie and it's pretty good so far. It's loosely based on the Yorkshire Ripper case in North England. The only problem is the Yorkshire accent can be a bit difficult to understand at times, what with their "oughts" and "noughts".

| 1. I like episodes 1 & 3 best...all episodes are... |

| 2. Yes, I saw it last summer and thoroughly enjoyed all 3 parts. |
|
Pay attention to details as they happen and it becomes much easier to follow - especially as they relate to chapter 3. I'm British and had no problems with the accents but my husband did, and I found myself translating for him quite a bit.
An excellent, if somewhat disturbing Trilogy.

| 3. Yes, and I found episodes 2 and 3 much easier to follow than the first one |
|
I had the disks, so the closed captioning was a lifesaver.

and enjoyed it.
I watch a lot of British TV so the accents weren't a problem for me. And being a southerner, I how much people can wince at thick accents. :P
edit: looking forward to the other two.

But in the case of the Yorkshire accent, not only is it pretty thick, but they use a lot of different words and slang.

Excellent. I too, had trouble with the accents. By the third one I guest I was acclimated because I actually began to understand them.

| 9. Question about the second movie. Potential spoiler. |
|
I'm half way through the 3rd movie, so don't spoil that one for me. My question is, at the end of the second movie, when the two cops get shot, what the shooter actually a decent guy who didn't know any way out except to kill the last cop who was in on the scheme and the investigator?

| 10. The second episode really made me work to... |
|
understand what was going on... I went ahead and watched the third episode and then went back and watched the second and then first, again.
There really is an interesting story in this trilogy.
