He also had a minor criminal record in Marysville Ohio, home of Ohio's infamous Buckeye penitentiary but he didn't have a serious criminal record. From what I have heard, he sounds a lot like an anti-social personality disorder. This is what one would expect from such am individual too. Sadly, with all of the cuts in funding for treatment of the mentally ill, we can expect to see more of this type of thing in the future. Here in Texas, they're throwing all but the worst mental cases right out on to the streets. You take one of these people and give them some street drugs and there's no telling what they're liable to do.
