i felt like they were thumbing their noses in my face. but i've seen luxury cars in the 99cent store parking lot,too.

i did spend money on gifts but not luxuries. jeans, tshirts, books (orwell) judy collins' 'democracy' cd (barnes/noble), (to prepare my daughter for what's to come). buying what i can on ebay but if the seller looks 'red' i don't bid. the only luxury is tickets to Les Mis for the inspiration.



one of my favorite lines from the show: "where is the anger in the land?" where indeed.
