Your comment, "And people will lose their high-paying jobs, too, if no one buys anything this Christmas. High paying jobs produce something, and that has to be sold. If it isn't sold, then there is no longer any need for the people producing, designing, engineering, marketing, managing, supervising and administrating that product."

First, the days of "high-paying jobs" is gone. Companies simple are not going to pay someone, anyone a high salary when they can one person a low salary to do 2 jobs nowadays (and that is what is happening).

Second, the "high paying jobs" such as those in the technology, automobile and other manufacturing jobs have been "OUTSOURCED".

Third, because of "OUTSOURCING", America no longer produces, designs, engineers, markets, manages, supervises and administrators any product (or should I say VERY few products...ie WMD)."

AMERICA HAD SOLD ITSELF TO THE DEVIL...AND HE IS WINNING.
