and I'm never quite sure what to make of him. He is certainly not a right-wing nutjob, but does tend to vote with the Repubs the vast majority of the time. And then he gives speeches like that...where he sounds a heck of a lot like John Kerry (no draft, work on the diplomacy, build international coalitions, etc.).

I'm hesitant to throw my support behind him or even speak out very loudly in his behalf because I think he may be positioning himself for a 2008 Presidential bid. On the other hand, I feel the need to give kudos, since he's one of the very few Republicans who is consistently pointing out that the emperor has no clothes. :shrug:
