Appears the two earthquakes are on two different lines of the ring. This would indicate NO connection.





Now the December 23/24 earthquakes was on a "Divergent" Plate, where the EARTH is WIDENING as two plates diverge from each other. This latest earthquakes is on a "CONVERGENT" Plate where one plate is being forced deep into the earht by another plate. These are on opposite sides of the SAME PLATE. I may be back to the two quakes being connected, the December 23/24 earthquake "permitting" the Plate (as opposed to the Fault) to adjust causing the Quake of today.
