Catholic League of Decency that was prevalent when I was growing up that "discouraged" attendance at many fine films. I am thinking of people like that ass Michael Medved who imposes his "Christian" beliefs on movie reviews. His book "Hollywood Vrs the Mass Media" is disgusting. But I defend his right to say it.
Religion itself can cause censorship by the imposition of its values. I don't care if there are movies made about religion. The passion is only one of how many movies made of the life of Christ? Filmmakers have the right to make whatever they want to make. I am just concerned when they want to force their influence on others.
