Opponents say it's another form of abortion.
...Philip Hendricks, with the Right to Life group...said the bill distorts the truth about pregnancy, not explaining that it occurs at fertilization.
"The attempt is to redefine pregnancy to when the embryo is implanted into the mother's womb and that is just factually incorrect," Hendricks said.
"Colorado law codifies a medical definition, not a faith-based definition. Certainly people of faith disagree on that definition," Boyd said.
Good for you, Ms. Boyd--THAT'S hitting them where they live! Factually incorrect, my :kick: -- CONCEPTION is what takes place at fertilization! The actual pregnancy doesn't begin until the fertilized egg starts dividing. It can take up to five days, huh?
One other thing--let's drop the use of the word "faith-based" and call it for what it is: "enforced right-wing Christianity."
