23. I'm going to be real curious how additional $80B handled
I don't think the additional $80B in emergency funding is going to be forked over so easily this time, even by Repuglicans. Especially when it is paired with cuts to domestic programs--Medicare, Medicaid, Social Security. All Bush'd have to do is roll back those damn tax cuts to the rich, and he'd have his $80B--basically what Kerry said during the campaign and got totally hammered for (he initially thought that's how the war would be funded, so voted for it. When he found out it would come out of our pockets, he voted against it. Why is that so hard to understand?)
Ted Kennedy does his country and his brothers proud. You know, he has done a much better job for us in the senate than if he'd ever aspired to higher office. His name has been on more really good pieces of legislation than any other senator's in D.C.
