Actually, Jackson County went Bush in 04. KCEB and Jax Co election boards are separate. Jax Co's going with the InkaVote system by ES&S. I haven't yet heard what counting machines they'll use or whether they'll also use a DRE (touchscreen). Seems most EBs have the mistaken notion that touchscreens are the only option for HAVA (Hack America's Vote Act) standards for handicapped voters. Bullshit, but none of the vendors are correcting them.
