you say, although i had not quite realized that that is what i believed until just now that you pointed it out to me...but that was way back in the very early 1960s, right after i was forced to leave Cuba and join my mother's mississippi family, or be imprisoned in a cuban jail for counter revolutionary activities against fidel castro.

But then by the 1970s i came to admire fidel castro over the fact that Uncle Sam had not been able to push him out of his power.

And by the l980s and l990s i came to see the bastardly diaz-balart brothers and their female counterpart ileana ros-lehtinen and all of the rest of the miami right wing cuban-americans for the despicable beings that they are.

There are things that i do admire in Fidel Castro today. But, I also have to reckon with the fact that he is a dictator. and a dictator is a dictator, whether bush or fidel castro.
