Hell, I just got off the phone with my guy best friend. He's a good solid liberal Democrat and he's 100 percent on our side on abortion...and even with him when I started talking about being angry at supposedly liberal men for their lack of effort in doing something about the patriarchy that, let's face it, they benefit from...all he wanted to talk about was what women do.

It drives me crazy. Yes...some women suck up to the right-wingers. People who don't have power often react by trying to cozy up to those that do in the vain hope that it will get them some consideration. It doesn't work...but that doesn't stop people from trying.

I'm just really tired of having to pull against those who claim to be on my side. I'm really tired of the conversation always turning so that they don't have to look at their own behavior and motivations. *sigh*

I think it may be time for bed. This is all just circling in my brain and making want to hit someone upside the head with a shovel.
