Abramoff Given Time Off From Prison To Aid Investigators

I love this. He has to spill his guts until they say stop and then they throw his ass in prison for the first trial, and then there is more to come, plus he has to testify in the killing of Gus Boulus. Oh yes, I love to see this justice.

Miami, FL (AHN) - Lobbyist Jack Abramoff was awarded at least three months freedom before he’s securely placed behind bars thanks to a judge who has held off sentencing while he and former partner Adam Kidan aid investigators in additional Washington corruption investigations.

The two one time business partners and principles in a murder investigation have been ordered to assist investigators looking into allegations of some of those in Congress and the Bush administration.

The AP reports U.S. District Judge Paul C. Huck sentenced Abramoff and Kidan to five years and 10 months in prison for fraud in the 2000 purchase of SunCruz Casinos, the minimum sentence recommended under federal guidelines.

The two Washington insiders deny having any role in his death but were convicted of forgery regarding transfer and payment for the SunCruz company. And Kidan has been linked to two of the three men charged with Konstantino’s murder via check payments.
It’s rumored that if prosecutors are satisfied with Abramoff's and Kidan's assistance in the ongoing investigations, the sentences initially imposed on them could be reduced.
