67. Cheney could be right
Republicans lost in 2006 only because they miscalculated the Democrat groundswell, so their election-stealing apparatus couldn't adjust quickly enough for the big difference from what was expected. Democrats probably lost seats to Republicans in 2006 because in some cases they were successful at rigging. How else did 3,000,000 Dem votes go missing?

In 2008 they'll be ready for it, their rigging apparatus will be ready, Dems will have been scrubbed from the voting lists, caging will be alive and well, voter ID's will prevent many Dems votes from being cast. California may even have a split electoral college count. There will be a close race between Clinton and Giuliani. The count will go for Clinton until the final adjustment kicks in -- and the count could be 50+% Giuliani to 50-% Clinton. Where have we seen that before? US 2000, US 2004, Mexico 2006 (with the help of Bush election fixers).

It's advisable to take Cheney seriously and press harder to make sure all Dem votes can be cast and will be counted accurately.
