50. For the first time I voted on a machine |
|
here in the suburbs of Chicago. I have never used the touch screen machines before and always asked for the paper but early voting is done via machine. The machine I used then printed out my votes on a paper roll within the machine and I was to check that before casting the votes. I overheard the judges talking about how often they have had to change those papers. sooo my question - is this a paper backup of my vote? And if it is are we one of the few places on earth that use machines with paper back-ups that can be used in a recount if needed?
