I learned this from my local union president when I was on strike. I was somewhat impressed that Clinton wouldn't cross our picket line. She said any Democrat with presidential ambitions doesn't cross picket lines because if they did their career would be over. This is change from Bush, of course, but nothing more than status quo for Dems.
