Sorry, ferries as targets is not news, at least not to me. The fact that two years after 9/11 we've still done nothing to make ferries safer or to secure our ports and inspect cargo containers or even to inspect commercial packages loaded onto planes is absolutely maddening.

I bet just a little bit of the $1b/week we're spending on Iraq would do a lot for these homeland needs.
