Three protest 'radical Islam' at Dearborn City Hall

Dearborn— Demonstrators took to the steps of Dearborn City Hall today to protest "radical Islam," but only three members of the Michigan Fraternal Order of the Dragon showed up.

The group had planned a protest on Good Friday, April 22, but canceled after meeting with Dearborn Mayor Jack O'Reilly and various religious leaders.

But another group also made an appearance today on the steps, which have been designated a "Free Speech Zone," where public demonstrations can be held without a permit.

BAMN, a group that seeks to defend affirmative action and integration "by any means necessary," staged a counter-protest with nearly a dozen members.
