Dean also has more broad-based support than the other candidates. At this point, I'd say IA is a toss-up between Dean and Gephardt, Dean slightly favored, with Kerry likely to come in third. On a graph, Dean has been moving steadily upward since February in Iowa, while Gephardt has remained steady.

Dean :thumbsup: 4% since mid-July, :thumbsup: 8% since late June
Gephardt :thumbsdown: 11% since mid-July, :thumbsdown: 4% since late June
Kerry :thumbsup: 2% since mid-July, :thumbsdown: 1% since late June
Lieberman steady since mid-July, :thumbsdown: 1% since late June
