3. Here's the link to the speech (little bullets of truth)
http://www.johnkerry.com/pressroom/speeches/spc_2004_0824.html

...It is a choice between holding secret meetings...in the White House to rewrite our...laws, or protecting the air our children breathe and the water they drink...

The Bush campaign and its allies have turned to the tactics of fear and smear because they can’t talk about jobs, health care, energy independence, and rebuilding our alliances...

In fact, pretending to be something they’re not may be the single most consistent thing about (the GOP)...that’s what they’ve been doing all along.

I don’t believe that four years of lost jobs, lower wages, higher health care costs, higher tuitions and tax cuts for the few are the best we can do...

THESE are the things that I've wanted to hear from Kerry and his surrogates--locally AND nationally. They're concise, they're spin-retardant, they stick it to Bush without "going negative" or "stooping to his level," and the reason why is that they're fact-based. THIS is the approach that will impress the undecideds and re-energize our base!
