I still think a great advertisement would be a series of 90 second spots, shown consecutively during a long program, of Bush in the classroom.

Start with about 15 seconds before he is told about the second attack, and then just show the footage in 90 second blocks. No audio, no voice-over, no commentary. Nothing but a small clock in one corner counting off the amount of time he sat there.

Silence on TV can seem like an eternity when it goes on for 15-20 seconds. Try it in 90 second blocks, to emphasize the nothingless. Just every break, pick up where the last one left off, counter and all.
