I had a girl nearly get into a FIST FIGHT with me over the "reality" of a Two Dollar Bill. She swore that there was no way, no how that a $2 bill existed. I told her she was flat out stupid and that $2 bills have been around for quite some time, and that I had a whole collection of them from when I was younger (my family would collect the older editions with the red ink for me).

She called me a GODDAM LOONY and nearly punched me in the face. Luckily, my boss was nearby and did verify that there were such things as $2 bills.

And, I kid you not, about a month later, this same waitress who KNEW there were no such things as $2 bills ACCEPTED a phony $40 (yes, FORTY) dollar bill from a patron who was passing funny munny. The boss asked when there had ever, EVER in our history been a Forty Dollar Bill, and she gave a vapid stare and said "Well, I thought it was the same as 2 Twenties".

She was supposedly a pre-med student, btw.
