No link yet; CNN broke in to cover. The number was initially reported as 27, updated during broadcast to 35.

A car bomb has exploded near a police station and training centre in central Baghdad, killing at least 35 people, officials say.

Dozens of people were also injured in the mid-morning blast in the busy Haifa Street area of the Iraqi capital, according to reports from the scene.
