I'm extremely disappointed today. The BBC have swerved first. I watched their media affairs spokesman basically admit that the BBC had failed to accurately report facts. This is devastating and effectively lets the government off the hook. Hoon survives, Campbell survives, Blair survives and our young men continue to die in Iraq.

Dr Kelly's evidence will never be heard. He's dead due to the pressure put on him by the MOD and unfortunately, it seems by poor judgement within the BBC. The concerns Kelly had over "evidence" seem to have been ignored as it's more fun to speculate who killed him

What is of great concern to me is the fact that there was no threat seems to have been lost, no doubt exactly as Blair/Campbell hoped it would be. I knew once I saw Campbell's bombastic defence of his position over the 45mins claim that he was NOT involved in THAT decision. However, it seems clear he was happy to be involved in the rest of it.
