NYC firefighter injured in firehouse attack files $100 million lawsuit
Advertisements [?]
NEW YORK New York City is being slapped with a 100-million dollar lawsuit filed by a firefighter who alleges he was the victim of a drunken attack at a firehouse.
Firefighter Robert Walsh was critically injured when hit in the face with a steel chair thrown by a fellow firefighter.

He claims that other firefighters declined to call an ambulance or notify police to cover up alcohol consumption.

A city attorney says the lawsuit is being evaluated.

All 50 members of the firehouse were reassigned. The firehouse captain was demoted, fined and forced to retire. The alleged attacker has pleaded innocent.
