The direct threat to us is not his oil directly, but the fact that unlike Saudi Arabia, who sells us it's oil and then loans it right back to us, thereby financing our spendthrift lifestyle and wars of imperialism, Venezuela sells us it's oil and then spends the money on the people of it's country and region.

The result? A constant outflow of dollars, with none coming back. Or as Greg Palast said, it's all about the flow.

And remember, nothing that the Mad George government says should be taken at face value. If their lips are moving they're lying.
