Actually, McCain-Feingold has had only a negligible effect on the D.C. lobbying culture; and after it was signed into law, McCain himself hasn't done anything further to fight against the Beltway money culture.

But what kills me is the statement "Some conservatives dislike McCain because he has worked to limit money in politics..." There is nothing "conservative" about allowing money to influence American politics. If Barry Goldwater were alive, he'd be railing against the lobbyists and the politician whores who take their money.
