215. It seems to me like a huge mistake.
(Unless, of course, it's brilliant.)

Palin has ZERO foreign policy experience, ZERO head start with foreign leaders, ZERO credentials or international "political capital". How can mccain put her a heartbeat away from the presidency, especially when it's his 72-year-old heartbeat?

The presidency is stressful (duh) and dramatically ages people. mccain can't take much more aging, unless he is indestructible in the evil cheney vein.

If mccain were to become incapacitated as president (I mean beyond his existing, inherent lack of capacity for the job), we would have a "caretaker" president who is clueless on foreign affairs to deal with Iran, Russia, China, Iraq, etc.

It is spectacularly irresponsible for mccain to make this choice, and that idea should be pushed hard in the coming weeks. Is this an example of the judgment mccain will exert in office?
