3. Got a call from Discover Card security last week.
The caller had such a heavy accent I could barely understand him and when he asked for my SS# I became convinced it was an overseas scam. I called Discover at its published # to report the attempted scam, and the Security Dept person I was transferred to had the same heavy accent. I couldn't understand him either and hung up. I still don't know whether the call was legit or a scam.
