Assuming such a ban becomes law, the guns will be work $$$



And it is an issue they vote on. They figure "I live in a rural area, the economy sucks whether it's a Republican or a Democrat in office". So, what's left to vote on? Personality of the candidate, personality of the party, and wedge issues.


And Democrats officially now have the history, turning hypotheticals into historic fact.


Remember, folks, Republicans are as strongly in favor of Democrats passing gun control as the most ardent gun-controlling Democrats are.
