This "fact" is, in fact, not true. Whether you call this a "statement of fact" or not, it's still interpreted as South-bashing. If you'd do some research, you wouldn't have to rely on the broad-brush comments ever again. You might also want to look at the wiki link, as the South is turning blue and it's the Western states that I mentioned getting the higher concentration of red counties. Not the South. That's a "tradition" that is changing for the better :)
