up, are highly concentrated among the 2% of the population that owns most of the wealth, whereas the housing, which took a dramatic downward turn, is where most of the "wealth" is for everyone else, at least for those fortunate enough to still have one.

I sometimes talk with others about income inequality, but understanding is often bounded, or even limited, by experience. It is also guided by how people learn - some through their hands as they work through problems, some graphically through their eyes. Some people learn best through sound.
