COPENHAGEN (Reuters) - A Danish businessman has been kidnapped in southern Iraq, Danish Broadcasting News reported on Friday. It said on its Web Site that the man in his 30s was kidnapped in the town of Al Tadji near Basra during a highway robbery.
The broadcaster said it had only sparse information and the kidnapping was not officially confirmed. The Danish Foreign Ministry was not immediately available for comment.
