155. You people have shorter memories that the right.
I know Carl Levin and he is no hawk. Didn't a single one of you watch the "debate" leading up to the IWR?? NO ONE fought harder to stop this war than Carl Levin. No one has pushed harder for it to end. I spoke with him last January while he was here and he told me and then the crowd when he addressed us all that there was much talk of a troop drawdown by August and soon after that would be talk of the end. He asked us all to help him hold the President to this agreement.

He is no hawk and he never makes comments lightly. If he says there is something to this, than there is something to this. And if that is the case Levin will be the last one to advocate all out war with Iran. He would much rather prefer less extreme options.

But hey we here in MI have only known Senator Levin since 1978 and some of us talk to him every chance we get (which is often as he travels our state all the time, even the forgotten remote corners our former Dem Governor couldn't be bothered with). He is no hawk and we're glad he's the one chairing that committee.

Maybe if you all looked into his career in the Senate (since you obviously remember nothing of it) you might find out for yourself.

Julie--truly marveling at the cluelessness
