A decade of fearmongering has certainly left its mark on the collective psyche.
Hell, I get uneasy when I see middle-eastern looking people on the same plane as me and I KNOW it's STUPID. Damn it. But you get bombarded with the islamist terror threat message 24/7. It has to leave a mark at one point.
This is a level of propaganda success Hitler and Stalin could only have dreamt about.
