Industrial hemp does not have much of the active ingredient ( canibinol ,aka THC - Tetra hydro canibinol). Hemp is great for ropes sails cloth, phycho active cannibis does not make goos paper or fiber for cloth, etc. Levi Strauss sold the 49er gold miners the first denim ( cotton ) trousers , before that many had trousers made from the sails from the ships that brought the miners to Yerba Bueno, or San Franscisco, as it was named later. The ships were stripped for their lumber, and sails for heavy duty purposes. It was said that the hemp trousers lasted 10 x as long as the cotton trousers made by Strauss, but Strauss sold them for about $4, where the hemp trousers sold for $20.

Th current government policy against hemp is asinine, as you wouldn't get high from hemp oil , or smoking yer hat or trousers, yet they persecute hemp vendors, another reason to rid us of the bush scourge, there's no talking to numb skulls.
