I feel the same way - Powell was probably the ONLY intelligent link in this administration. I am sure he will follow the many military personnel who are jumping ship. There are intelligent Republicans out there - we just have to fish them out. Look at Arlen Spector of PA - the rabid Christian nutcakes are out to do him in. The Shrub is a unique beast - capable of alienating Democrats as well as the moderate thinking Republicans in his own party. Wonder how many more Republicans will jump ship when they realize how far to the right these nutcakes have gone. Powell may be a welcome site as "D".
