and the New York times might say. Putin has not done anything authoritarian or autocratic. Unlike George Bush Putin has been lawfully elected twice. The Bush administration has from the outset feared growing Russian economic and petro power. The adminstration and the corporate media have sought to portray Putin as a Boogey man. Parade Magazine called Putin one of the ten most dangerous dictators in the world. Was that honest? Or fair? or even remotely the truth?
The New York Times has soiled themselves from the Judith Miller case on. If the New York Times told me the house was on fire I wouldn't believe them if I smelled smoke. Just more Bush administration claptrap to line the bird cage with.
