Because it's an election year, perhaps?

I remember Three Mile Island... when it happened, it was basically raining in eastern PA.
The Philadelphia Inquirer had all these very elementary sketches of what "might" have happened.
It was only when I reached Miami that I read the whole story and saw very detailed drawings of
what had gone wrong. (I was three months pregnant at the time and flew down on a planeload of
more pregnant women than I have ever seen gathered in one place.)
