25. This is what I got when I Scroogled Jeff Sharlet
Firstly, his blog. (I posted this in reply to another thread on the subject):

http://jeffsharlet.blogspot.com/2008/02/blog-post.html

There you will find links to a number of articles he wrote (for Harper's, Rolling Stone, Mother Jones)about what is- behind the 'prayer breakfasts' and conciliatory pseudo-christian speech- a group that sounds nearly as dangerous as the moonies or scientologists.

Hillary, the paragon of feminism and a role model to all our daughters has been publicly involved all these years with a religious group that segregates the sexes and claims that democracy is somehow ungodly. Their stated purpose is to keep us in holy oligarchy where the 'right' people rule. People associated with their church and ministry, of course. The membership is not all senators and mucky-mucks. The not so prestigious members spend their time serving the higher-ups, doing the lawn work on their estates and living in sexually segregated bliss. Of course the women come over from their compound to wait on the mucky-mucks too.

Read the articles. Hell, if you can afford such things, buy the book. I read most of his articles last night and felt close to freaking out. This country has been in a very scary situation for longer than many of us realize. Names are dropped. Your hair will curl.

People need to know what Hillary's religious association with these people is. Perhaps she should repudiate a few religious ties of her own, I think she would have a hard time defending her membership in a group that segregates women and looks upon them as second-class citizens. I personally don't think she believes their tripe, but I see her using the contacts made thru through the group for political advantage.

I was for Dennis at first, and I've worked my way up the chain to Obama and I'm stopping there. Hillary will do anything to be elected. And this is not a good thing.
