Here's something I'm involved with locally that some DU'ers might find interesting.

The St. Thomas Township citizens' group opposed to a limestone quarry filed a class-action lawsuit in federal court Wednesday, alleging the quarry developer has violated the group's civil rights.

The suit, which seeks $49 million in damages, names St. Thomas Development Inc., the company's three directors -- all members of the DePaul family -- as well as the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania, State Attorney General Jerry Pappert and Pennsylvania Secretary of State Pedro Cortes.
