vehement attacking of Democratic contenders that are simply disagreed with on policy or job performance. If you perfer a particular candidate, why is it necessary to hack to pieces another candidate. This is Republican methodology. Now I am all for using these tactics against the Republicans in any election, but why are we doing this to "our own"?
I strongly disagree with almost every statement, position and utterance of Joe Lieberman over the past couple of years, and he would be the very last Democrat that I would vote for (as a matter of fact, if Joe gets the nomination, 2004 may be the last time I ever vote Democratic - after 30-odd years of solid DEm. voting), but we don't have to "go Republican" on each other.
I see this election cycle as being the one that decides the fate of the Democratic Party and the Party may be in its death-throes, but let's have some dignity and some civility - at least amongst oueselves.
Sorry, sermon over.
