For some reason I can't recall him having made the comment anytime in the days after 9/11. Who did he say this to? When was that CBC video clip filmed? He was doing some sort of campaign fundraising, wasn't he? Was that the first time he publicly shared this anecdote?

We are looking at a boychild in a man's body. Maybe his is a recovered memory" like when kids recall being victims of Satanic abuse. More than once, B* seems to have recalled events that didn't happen and convinced himself they did. Given enough time and distance, his story will grow to include personal acts of heroism, memories of having personally saved the day, and other fantastic fish stories. We keep forgetting to take the low IQ, gullibility, complete lack of abilty to think beyond his own limited experience into account. Notice how everything is transformed to his point of view?--"my" government, "I would move heaven and earth to prevent an attack...bring it on...mission accomplished...me, me, me..." He is the center of attention because he insists on it.

Still, you would expect some paid lackey would have edited the error.
