And I also thank you for the kind things you've said about Kucinich.

It's funny, I watch all the candidate bashing on various boards, and even in every day conversation and I don't get it. I mean I understand it's part of the process, but the vicious nature of it at times is just mindboggling.

There are plenty of things to admire about all of them, imho. Why is it those of us who are all after the same outcome (ousting King George and cronies) can't just say, "You know I was listening to so-and-so about healthcare, and I just don't think his/her plan is the best one.". What the hell happened to old fashioned honest debate around here?

I'm old enough to remember when Presidential candidates had open debates, three channels and the debates were on every one of them. I was a kid then and I hated it, but BOY do I long for it now! Two and three hours of listening to them challenge each other. When you walked away from that you KNEW what every one of them stood for. The 30 second soundbyte just doesn't cut it.
